TOD Markets Market Making Program commences

TOD Markets has commenced its Market Making Program, designed to increase the consistency of executable two-way pricing across electricity derivative products.

TOD Markets has commenced its Market Making Program, designed to increase the consistency of executable two-way pricing across electricity derivative products.

Participating market makers are rewarded for maintaining qualifying bids and offers during designated market-making periods, subject to minimum size, spread and participation requirements.

The program is focused on supporting continuous price discovery and making it easier for wholesale participants to assess and manage forward electricity exposures throughout the trading day.

Market making is an important part of developing deeper secondary markets, particularly as the NEM moves toward more granular contracting for renewable generation, batteries and changing intraday demand.

TOD Markets will continue to review the program using trading activity, market depth and participant feedback.
