Real-time OTC LGC trading launches on TOD Markets

Large-scale Generation Certificates can now be traded through TOD Markets, extending the platform into environmental markets alongside electricity derivatives.

Wholesale participants can enter bids and offers and trade standardised LGC contracts through the same regulated electronic market infrastructure used across TOD Markets.

The launch is intended to bring greater transparency to OTC environmental product trading, with participants able to see executable market pricing and transact electronically rather than relying solely on bilateral price discovery.

Adding LGCs is part of TOD Markets’ broader development as infrastructure for Australian energy and environmental risk markets.
